$50,000 STOLEN At Sports Card Shop

The robbery at a Card Shop in Reno was caught on surveillance video and police are investigating. A thief cut several brick pieces from the building and removed the bars that blocked the rear window, allowing him to enter the store. The thief grabbed a backpack and loaded it with baseball cards. He then ran away, leaving the surveillance camera to capture the suspect. The suspect was wearing a face mask, gloves, and a light-colored hooded sweatshirt. The owner of Home Team Sports Collectibles says about $50,000 in merchandise was stolen by the two people who got inside.

Mojo Sports posted this, “These situations are horrible for the hobby we love. Sports Card Theft is not a joke. You will be caught. Sports Card Market has us in shambles when we see this type of BS What’s up everybody. These card shop robberies are terrible for the hobby and we need to build awareness. How can we prevent this from happening to card shops, and card collectors?”
